Example 1: Sneaker Reseller Alex
Alex processes 80-120 sneaker orders monthly across StockX, GOAT, and eBay.
His GTBuy spreadsheet has 20 columns across three tabs.
Tab one is Orders, with columns for Drop Date, Supplier, Sneaker Model, Size, Colorway, SKU, Retail Price, Proxy Cost, Shipping, Platform Fee, Cleaning Cost, Packaging, Total Cost, Target Resale, Listed Platform, Listed Price, Sale Price, Net Profit, and Notes.
Tab two is Profit Dashboard, with pivot tables showing profit by model, profit by size, and monthly trends.
Tab three is Inventory, tracking unsold pairs by location.
Alex says the breakthrough was adding the Platform Fee column.
He used to estimate fees at 10%.
Real fees averaged 14%.
That 4% difference was costing him $200-400 monthly on underestimated costs.
